2024 Champions crowned! MARFC Children's Christmas Party up next!
Custom awards and great food greeted the attendees as the 2024 Champions of the Birch Run Speedway were honored. General Manager Gus Engelhardt and track owner Andy Suski kicked off the night by thanking everyone for a successful 2024 and for coming out to support each other at the banquet.
Division Sponsors, special guests, and Gus Engelhardt and Andy Suski gave the award winners the trophies.

Each Champion received a custom one-off trophy made by Justin Craft from 7’s Fab, a NASCAR Divisional trophy (for Modifieds, Limited Late Models, Street Stocks, and Pure Stocks), and their championship jacket. Second and third received trophies while third through fifth received plaques.
The rookies of the year were also recognized for their efforts and the winners were:

Matt Elsey Jr. established a new track record for the Front Wheel Drives (16.096) and Darren Burton did the same for the Nelson Hydraulics American Trucks (16.841) and received trophies.
Class Sponsor appreciation awards were given to Wheeler Trucking, Showcase Auto Sales, Finish Line Seamless Gutters, Nelson Hydraulics, Top Speed Motorsports, and Mid Michigan Mayhem.
Glenn Schmidt was honored with the Volunteer of the Year award, while the Sportsmanship Award was presented to Darren Burton.
The night concluded with door prize giveaways being handed out before Scott Kool Productions rocked the evening.
The 2025 schedule is expected to be released on www.birchrunracing.com and the Facebook page soon. There will be activity at the Birch Run Speedway and Event Center on Sunday, December 1st. The Michigan Auto Racing Fan Club will be hosting their Children’s Christmas Party. The event starts at noon and there will be games to win prizes and Santa will be in attendance. The event will run until three and will be followed by the club's general meeting for December. Guest speakers will include 2024 Flat Rock Speedway Champions Conner Zbozien (Outlaw Super Late Models) and Kenyon Knight (Street Stocks). The event is free and is open to the public.
